I usually buy the McCormick Organic White Pepper that comes in the glass jar since that is what is the most widely available white pepper at my local grocery stores. I use white pepper when I make recipes for someone who is on a low oxalate diet since white pepper is supposed to have a lot less oxalates than black pepper. This brand has a much sharper smell and flavor than the McCormick brand white pepper in a way that I don’t entirely like and takes some getting used to. I don’t know if that means it’s “fresher” or not since I’ve only tried McCormick brand white pepper so far. This will do in a pinch, but I prefer McCormick still.

It’s really hard to find a good white pepper in the US since a lot of the white pepper is imported from India or China, but I have to say, this is the best US brand I’ve purchased for this spice! I like to use this in my congee, soup and other cooking and it really does pack a punch! The heat level is amazing and it really warms up your stomach. Also the price is unbeatable! This will be a continuous staple spice and purchase in my kitchen.

JUST the thing! I love the flavor notes that white pepper adds, this is the real thing at a good price. Enjoy!

I love pepper in my food and white pepper gives a good kick. Often used in Asian cooking

Adds good flavor but it is hot like pepper normally is so be careful when sprinkling it on food.

Nice flavor with a little kick at the end. That surprised me. Not bad spicy but more than I’m used to using black pepper. Hence…I have to be more careful seasoning because of the kids. A good purchase at a reasonable cost.

This white pepper has a great taste. I use it for when I don’t want the harsh bite black pepper can give. Good in mashed potatoes & anything you need pepper for. Good price, had more than a year expiration date.

This is a so so product. Taste ok, we have better ones. Don’t like the thin plastic bottle. Feels it’s a bit expensive for small amount like that
